What are human needs?

The body and mind are directly connected and each influences the other. Therefore, it is important to take a look at the mind as well.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs:
The American psychologist Abraham Maslow (1908 - 1970) developed the hierarchy of needs printed here, which is still one of the most important models in social psychology. He wanted to use it to explain which needs motivate people and when. The psychologist described the hierarchical arrangement of so-called deficit needs and growth needs in five stages.
